CELEBRATING 15 YEARS WITH OUR FAMILY—— HMC 15th Anniversary & Family Day Event

On June 8^th HMC celebrated its 15^th Anniversary with an event and Family Day with the theme "CELEBRATING 15 YEARS WITH OUR FAMILY". Over 300 families, 570 people in total, attended this special ceremony to share our history, and celebrate the bonds that have been created among colleagues and family over the past 15 years.

The General Manager and Deputy General Manager started the event with a speech highlighting the milestones that have been achieved over the past 15 years, and how HMC has grown to become a benchmark both in Hafei and Airbus. They confirmed that this success is largely thanks to the passion, energy and perseverance of all HMC employees who have been with HMC over the years. It is this spirit of working together, close connection and creating a supportive environment that has made HMC what it is today, and what will ensure HMC continues to grow and improve going forward. There was also a ceremony to recognize the 15-Year Seniority employees, with some very moving speeches from employees who shared their experiences on how they have grown together with HMC.

The lovely children from different families added a charming atmosphere to the activity with their brilliant performances during the talent show. After that, volunteer guides led the families on a shop floor tour, to witness our production process, our advanced equipment, and experience our inclusive working environment and where we spend our days with our colleagues.

There were various games to play individually and in teams, with exciting prizes for the winners, as well as a children’s DIY area where they could get creative and have fun. We have formed emotional bonds through games and laughter, and deepened the feeling between family and company through companionship. The colorful handprints and family photos with big smiles will be stored in the collective HMC memory for many years to come.

Over 15 years, as an important component of Airbus supply chain, HMC has achieved many milestones on the road to becoming a high-tech company. For the A320 work package, the first Rudder part was delivered in July 2011; over the years HMC continued to improve its manufacturing capacity and technical level, and delivered the 4000th A320 rudder in October 2023. For the A350XWB work package, the first Elevator part was delivered in March 2013, and by the end of May 2024, HMC has delivered a total of 600 Elevators, 579 Rudders, 511 Belly Fairing panels and 660 S19 Maintenance Doors. In the future, HMC will use intelligent manufacturing means, combined with the company's production skills, to fully optimize utilization of resources, maximize efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation.
