HMC Safety Month Successfully Achieved

Since the launch of the "Safety Month" in June, HMC and Airbus China jointly conducted a Safety Campaign under the theme of “Safety starts with me and everybody knows how to deal with emergency” focusing on Occupational Health & Safety and creating a safe and healthy workplace for us all.

To enhance safety knowledge and emergency skills, HMC has arranged the safety posters and played safety warning videos repeatedly to let everyone learn from the case and strengthen their awareness of the red line. At the same time, we have successively carried out a series of interactive activities such as Online Safety Knowledge Contest, Gemba Walk Open to Volunteers, and Hazard Classification. Through the educational and entertainment methods, we have shared safety knowledge to all staff from multiple perspectives. In addition, we also collaborated with the Pingfang District Fire Emergency Rescue Brigade to conduct Fire & Emergency drill, cooperated with simulating real fire scenarios and trained the correct use of fire extinguishers. With 100% participation rate, we further enhanced the emergency response, improved the quality and efficiency of "Safety Month" Campaign, and consolidated the safety culture of HMC.

Safety is a core value of the company and it remains top priority for each of us. During the safety month, we collected a total of 24 suggestions from all departments. These suggestions demonstrate our safety cooperation and inclusive cultural vitality. This safety culture will constantly guide us to identify hidden hazards into production and integrate safety concepts into the operation process.

At HMC, we will continue to enhance safety minds, establish a positive safety mindset, clear the safety ways , and move towards the milestone of the 3-Year Accident Free.
